Project Scope

Replacement of Siemens VVVF Drives

Our team successfully managed the entire project installation scope, which included the safe removal of the old drives, installation of the new VVVF units, and thorough testing and commissioning to ensure optimal performance. This project was executed within the scheduled timeframe, with a strong emphasis on safety and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

The upgrade has resulted in significant improvements in the speed and control of operations, contributing to reduced energy consumption and extended equipment lifespan, aligning with Fortescue’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability

The project was marked by a significant commitment of over 2300 man-hours across a span of 13 days, and it is noteworthy that this extensive work was accomplished without any reportable safety incidents.
